There is nothing like the journey of growing flowers - planting the seed or bulb and watching life sprout from the soil. Tending the baby plants, and then seeing them reward you with their blooms. This is one of my favorite things about flower farming.
Peonies are one of our best and biggest crops & once established will give you tons of blooms for years to come- with relatively little care. We are always on the hunt for new varieties to bring into the farm and love to share our favorites. So- every year we take a portion of our order to share with you. These are healthy, big multi-year roots. We purchase them as 3-5 eyes & often our growers send us larger roots which is a wonderful surprise. Our specialty is unusual varieties you might not have heard of and certainly won’t find at your local big box store.
Instructions & How to Grow: We will send detailed instructions with your order, however the basics: peonies like full sun to bloom, part sun will get you less blooms. No full shade. Space 3-4’ Apart.
We Ship anywhere in the US! Peonies can be heavy to ship- this is reflected in pricing. Shipping is expected in late October through early November - please make note of this before reaching out to inquire about your order. Don’t worry if you are worried about your ground freezing, we suggest digging your holes in fall so you are prepared- we do this all the time with ZERO issues and highly recommend it!
