Our 1500 dahlia plants are in peak season in mid September through early October, when the blooms are pumping out, as if the plants know that there are a mere few weeks until a killing frost puts them back to sleep for another 8 months.​ There's no more magical time here on the farm than when they are in full bloom.​

Come along for a delightful time as we welcome you to our 12 acre working farm and show you around. Starting with a farm tour and open discussion​ on​​ how we grow dahlias and other crops, then we will use our beautiful flowers and foliage to create beautiful centerpieces outside under the shade of our mature field trees near the field. It’s a magical time.

Investment: $150 per person

DETAILS:

• Each session includes a ​dahlia​ tour, open discussion, and design session including all materials required. BYO beverages, no food provided at these events, feel free to bring a snack!

• Fresh portable outdoor restroom will be provided by Brandywine Portables.

• Workshop is expected to happen rain or shine as we can work within our covered hoop house in case of rain- in the event of severe weather, we will postpone.

• We follow current CDC guidelines re: outdoor events.

For out of town guests wanting to attend, there are inns & hotels just 15-20minutes from our farm; and the acclaimed Longwood Gardens is just 15 minutes away in Kennett Square as well, if you are coming from a distance, definitely make a stop at the Gardens!
